Rhodiola Rosea Supplements and Staying Motivated

5th Mar 2019

Working out is hard, even before you get to the gym. Even though you might have the best of intentions, like packing up your bag and going to the gym for an intense workout, you still have to be motivated enough to actually do it.

Let’s face the cold, hard truth; there are times in which you just don't feel like working out. In fact, you might feel this way a few times a week. Let’s not kid anybody, when faced with a choice of either getting dressed, packing a bag, driving to the gym, getting in a good workout or flopping on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and Netflix, many of you will choose the latter.

Not that it is fine to skip the occasional workout, but playing hooky from the gym all of the time is not a great idea. If only exercise was as easy as taking a daily supplement.

Ameriden, your source for Rhodiola Rosea supplements, offers you tips that will help motivate you to get your exercise.

Write It Down

Write down how you feel after every workout. You know just how great it feels when you hit the showers after a sweaty session in the gym. Now, when you don’t feel like heading to the gym, grab your notebook and read all about how great you always feel after your workouts.

This does really work because you realize just how good you feel after the workout is complete.

Remember Why You Workout

Maybe you are working out because you can’t squeeze into your skinny jeans anymore. Perhaps you are working out because Thanksgiving and Christmas left you about five pounds over your ideal weight. Whatever the reason, use it as a way to get yourself motivated to get to the gym.

Group Fitness

If you belong to a group of people who meet at the gym at a certain time so many days a week, you will be motivated to workout. This is because you don’t want to be the one who skips out, your peers will hold you accountable.

Surround Yourself With Motivation

Hang pictures in your home and leave sticky notes on the mirror in your bathroom that are full of motivation. Basically, you will want to have motivation everywhere as a constant reminder to go to the gym and workout.

Make Exercise Your Favorite Thing

Find an activity that you love, then you will be more motivated to get it done. If you hate the treadmill, trade it out for rock wall climbing or weights. The idea is to come up with a workout that you love.

Stick It to Your Doubters

There are people you know who don’t think you can keep up with your workout schedule. You do not want to give them the pleasure of being right. Stick it to them by keeping your workout schedule.

Track Your Success

Keep a notebook full of your goals and how you plan on reaching them. Say you want to lose 20 pounds, then write down how much you weigh after every workout. Even if you are only losing a pound or two a week, you are making progress and it will motivate you to keep going.

Look in the Mirror

When you are thinking about skipping a workout, take a look in the mirror. You might be looking good right now, but if you keep skipping workouts, think about how easy it is to slip back to where you were before.

Listen to the Voices

Right now, there are voices inside your head shaming you for wanting to skip out on your workout. Listen to these voices.
